Selling on Amazon is one of the fastest ways to put a private label cleaning product in front of real buyers. The challenge is that liquid and chemical products carry extra rules, paperwork, and packaging requirements that catch a lot of new sellers off guard. True Brand has been manufacturing private label cleaning products since 2001, and we build every order with Amazon FBA sellers in mind. From the formula in the bottle to the label on the outside, your product ships ready to move through Amazon’s fulfillment network.
An Amazon-Ready Private Label Partner
True Brand is a family-owned manufacturer based in the United States. We make our own formulas, print our own labels, and pack every order in-house. That matters for Amazon sellers in three ways.
First, your supply chain is short. You are not waiting on an overseas container, a port delay, or a customs hold to refill a hot ASIN. When sales velocity jumps, we can usually turn around a reorder in days, not months.
Second, your product is built to Amazon’s playbook. We know how trigger sprayers, flat caps, foamers, and fine mist tops behave in transit, and we package them to survive the trip to a fulfillment center. Leak damage is one of the most common reasons Amazon suppresses a chemical listing, and the way a bottle is sealed before it leaves our floor decides whether that happens.
Third, your brand is yours. There are no setup fees, no private label fees, and no shared SKUs. The formula goes in your bottle, under your label, with your ASIN. Nobody can sell the exact same product, which means nobody can undercut your Buy Box.
How the Process Works
We keep the path from idea to live ASIN simple. Most sellers move through three stages.
-
Choose your formula
Start with the type of product you want to sell. We manufacture a wide range of cleaning formulas, from all-purpose cleaners and degreasers to glass cleaners, laundry products, automotive cleaners, and specialty solutions. If you already have a niche in mind, we help you pick the formula that fits the customer you want to reach, and we can adjust scent, color, or strength within reasonable limits.
-
Design your label
Bring your logo and artwork, or work with our in-house graphics team to build a label from scratch. We print labels on-site, which keeps revisions fast and your launch on schedule. Your label is where Amazon compliance starts, so we make sure required information for chemical products, like net contents, hazard pictograms, and warnings, ends up in the right spots.
-
Receive your FBA-ready product
Once your label is approved, we manufacture, fill, seal, and palletize. Product ships to your dock, your prep center, or directly into Amazon’s fulfillment network on your shipping plan. You get back a finished, scannable, shippable product ready to receive at FBA.
Amazon FBA Chemical and Liquid Compliance

This is where most overseas suppliers fall short. Amazon treats cleaning and chemical products differently than dry goods, and the documentation has to be right before a single unit gets stored in a fulfillment center.
Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Amazon requires a current Safety Data Sheet for any product that contains regulated chemicals. The SDS is a 16-section document that tells Amazon how the product behaves, what hazards it carries, and how to handle a spill. We provide an SDS for every formula we manufacture, formatted to meet Amazon’s submission standards. If your product qualifies for an exemption sheet instead, we help you document that too.
UN numbers and hazmat classification
Some cleaning products fall under dangerous goods classifications and require a UN number on documentation and outer packaging. We identify which of our formulas trigger hazmat review and which do not, so you know upfront whether your ASIN goes through Amazon’s dangerous goods program or ships under standard FBA. Hazmat reviews typically take a few business days once complete documents are submitted, and incomplete paperwork is the most common reason for delays.
Liquid packaging requirements
Amazon requires liquid products to have a double seal to prevent leakage. The specific seal depends on the cap. Flat caps and turret caps need a heat seal under the cap. Fine mist sprayers and foamer pumps are shrink-wrapped with the bottle. Trigger sprayers and lotion pumps are detached, capped with a flat top, and shrink-wrapped to the side. We build every order to those rules so your shipment is not rejected at the receiving dock.
Labeling for hazmat ASINs
When a product is classified as dangerous goods, the label has to carry the right information, which can include the UN number, weight in kilograms, volume in milliliters, and GHS hazard pictograms. Our graphics team places these elements correctly during label design, not as an afterthought.
MOQs Built for Real Amazon Sellers
Our minimum order quantity is 480 units per SKU. That number is intentional. It is large enough to lock in real per-unit pricing and small enough that a new seller can test a product without sinking tens of thousands of dollars into one launch. Many of our customers run several SKUs at 480 units each rather than one giant order, which lets them learn what sells before doubling down. There are no startup fees and no private label fees. You pay for product, label printing, and freight.
Labeling and ASIN Setup Support
Getting a new chemical ASIN live on Amazon takes more than a label and a UPC. We help with the pieces that slow sellers down:
- Label artwork sized to your chosen bottle and proofed before printing
- Net contents, ingredient callouts, and warning placements that meet retail standards
- SDS provided in the format Amazon accepts
- Guidance on whether your formula will trigger Amazon’s dangerous goods review
- Packaging that matches Amazon’s liquid prep and double-seal rules
- Pallet dimensions and case counts so you can build a clean shipping plan in Seller Central
If you are new to Amazon, we walk you through what to expect during your first FBA submission. If you are scaling, we keep your prep consistent so reorders ship the same way every time.
Why US-Based Manufacturing Matters on Amazon
Lead time is a competitive advantage on Amazon. A listing that goes out of stock loses ranking, loses review velocity, and loses the Buy Box to a backup seller. Sourcing private label cleaning products overseas can mean eight to fourteen weeks from order to dock, plus freight surprises and customs paperwork.
Manufacturing in the United States compresses that timeline. You order, we produce, and product ships from our facility. Reorders are faster, sample rounds are faster, and label revisions can happen in days instead of weeks. For a category as competitive as cleaning, that speed often matters more than shaving a few cents off per unit. US manufacturing also means your SDS and regulatory paperwork are produced under US standards from the start, which makes Amazon’s compliance reviews smoother.
